Try the work of pear growing: pollinating, bagging and more

Pears take care all year round. At Nashi no Oyado Yamasan, you can do more than pick them: you can also join in the seasonal work of growing them.

Examples of the work you can try

  • Pollinating — in spring, dabbing pollen onto the pear blossoms
  • Bagging — covering the small fruit with paper bags to protect them from insects and rain
  • Harvesting — picking the ripe pears from the tree

There is other work too, depending on the time of year. Why not spend a little while living the farm life with us?

What you can try changes with the season. If you are interested, please feel free to ask through the reservation page.
